Sacagawea is captured by Hidatsas and made one of over 7 wives that he had "married" The forced marriged caused outrage in Sacagawea's village which started a small war which ended the lives of 4 men and several boys from the so shone tribe.
1803
Lewis and Clark were preparing for an expedition when they realized they would need a translator. They never thought about a care taker or someone to prepare food because they all though the were going to be okay.

Lewis and Clark set out on an expidition with Sacagawea on their side as a peace maker and translator. Who knew she would be needed for so much more?
1805 ?
Sacagawea gives birth to a baby boy and named him "pomp" No one knows for sure if that was the correct year or not.
SUMMER 1805
Sacagawea helps Lewis and Clark steal Soshone horses. They then ride the horses into Nez Perec territory.
1806
Lewis and Clark had gotten into a brawl with the Black Foot Indians and of course Sacajawea had to make peace with them. She could not understand what they were saying because her main focus was the tribe in the Corps Mountain but she offered them a great amount of resources so they would leave the alone.
AUGUST 1806
Charbonneau sells land back to Clark. Sacajawea and Charbonneau leave St. Louis area; leave Jean Baptiste with Clark.
JANUARY 1806
One day in January, Clark and some of the others, including Sacagawea, ventured from camp to check out a beached whale. The starving men came upon a beached whale and began to overeat, not realizing how the concentrated fats and oils would affect their bodies. They became deathly ill. Years later, the men would tell the story of how they would have surely died had it not been for a little Indian girl who somehow miraculously was able to know what the dying men needed to recover.
